Aphotic Segment 004 | August 25th 2010

Our fourth edition of Aphotic Segment welcomed home Israel Vines, for what seems a yearly adventurous voyage back to his previous home of Detroit. Over the course of the night, Israel served a most delicious palette from post-punk's creme de la creme – Public Image Limited, Gang of Four, Joy Division, etc… and although I seemed destined to explore in the caverns of randomness, I was able to pinch a favorable section of my own post-punk influences. Indeed, the night was probably our most riotous, yet couldn’t be any less certain while trapped behind a foggy clouds of powers and red pops. Oooh buddy!..... Thank goodness for late Thursday employment.

Aphotic Segment 005 will carry on in fashion with yet another local punk enthusiast who also runs an eclectic gamut of dance music. Next month’s featured selector is Jeff Risk. Join Us Wednesday, September 29th at the Woodbridge Pub.
