Aphotic Segment 009 | January 26th 2011

It's been of towering priority to invite fellow music aficionado Kevin Sears, since the round tables session that conceived the very idea behind Aphotic Segment. Of the few years that I've had the pleasure of getting to know Kevin and his music collection, I've always found the smaller, intimate settings to be ideal. He lurks in the shadows of vast genre and treads heavily into each respective category's murky backwaters. It's weird, it's experimental, and most often, it's something I have yet to hear. Yes, this one's certified approved (download part 2); a little electro-y, alot of funky.... and just a little bit of James Blake For good measure.

Please be sure to join in next month as we feature the epic and inaugural opening of benderhaus head-spinster, "The Walrus", a.k.a. Dan Kinney!
